According to official news, the restaking protocol Swell L2 announced on October 29th that it will migrate to Optimism Superchain, joining the ecosystem as an Optimistic Rollup built on OP Stack. After this migration, Swell L2 will provide restaking benefits and security support to Superchain through its unique restaking proof mechanism.
To accommodate Hyperchain requirements, Swell L2 will make adjustments to its design, including adopting ETH as the gas token for rollup and donating a portion of the sorter revenue to Optimism Collective. Swell L2 has previously reached a total lock-up (TVL) of $1 billion in the pre-launch stage.
