On April 8th, Egyptian official media Al Qahera reported that Israel and Hamas have made significant progress on several controversial agreement points. The statement stated that the Qatar and Hamas delegations are expected to return to Cairo within two days to finalize the terms of the agreement. Previously, Israel warned that it was ready to take military action against Hamas in the southernmost city of Rafah in Gaza in the future. Rafah is the last area to have not been invaded on the ground so far.
