Profits of industrial enterprises above designated size fell 3.5% from January to September

On October 27th, from January to September, industrial enterprises above designated size across the country achieved a total profit of 2281.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%. From January to September, among industrial enterprises above designated size, the total profit of state-controlled enterprises was 1.72359 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.5%; the total profit of joint-stock enterprises was 3.88723 trillion yuan, a decrease of 4.9%; the total profit of foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises was 1.30364 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.5%; the total profit of private enterprises was 1.42272 trillion yuan, a decrease of 0.6%.
