10月24日消息，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik Buterin 在 X 平台发文表示，“我认为理想的方案是进行深度但有选择性的削减 Gas 费用：将当前在 2-5 范围内的所有 EVM 操作码的 gas 成本减少到 1，将 6-10 范围内的减少到 2。 ·将日志（log）操作的 gas 成本降低 4 倍。 ·降低预编译合约的 gas 成本（除了那些我们计划弃用的）。通过这种方式，可能在不损害任何“关键最坏情况”指标（例如 calldata 大小、IO）下，将 TPS 提升 1.5 倍。”
