Shuttle Labs, a self-managed digital trading company, announced on October 24 that it has completed a $6 million seed round of financing, with participation from Anthony Scaramucci, CMCC Global, SALT Fund, Flow Traders and several former FTX employees.
Shuttle Labs also announced the launch of a beta version of its self-hosted digital trading platform, Genius, which is designed to address a range of issues that led to FTX's bankruptcy, such as security, user control, and decentralization. It also explores the use of a self-hosted model to eliminate the risk of third-party escrow, ensuring that users always have their own private keys.
