Starknet, the Ethereum Layer 2 network, posted on the X platform that the first phase of STRK staking is about to be completed. The work completed in this phase includes: STRK staking contract, community governance on STRK staking parameters, and the first phase of the testnet. In addition, the first phase of the mainnet is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024. It will take time for Starknet to move towards a fully decentralized PoS network.
