Gary Gensler 回应若特朗普当选是否辞职：不对选举发表评论

10月22日消息，现任美国 SEC 主席 Gary Gensler 任务拟于 2026 年 1 月 5 日到期，一般而言如果反对党入主白宫，主席将会选择离职。不过如果特朗普成功当选下届美国总统，如果 Gary Gensler 决定坚持其立场，他也可以完成他的委员任期。在回答记者提问特朗普获胜是否会辞职时，Gary Gensler 表示自己不会对选举发表评论，但补充称「选举终会有结果（Elections have consequences）。」
