On October 22nd, Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero, posted a message to the Across Protocol team on the X platform last night, claiming that the latter's protocol contract has vulnerabilities that allow the contract owner to withdraw tokens from any address at any time, or to zero the balance of any account.
This morning, third-party security firm Trust Security told the LayerZero team in almost identical words to Bryan that a similar vulnerability exists in its protocol contract, allowing the contract owner to withdraw tokens from any address at any time or drain any Stargate pool.
