The European Union Commission has announced the launch of the Trusted Investors Network, a programme aimed at attracting venture capital into deep tech sectors such as biotech and artificial intelligence. Iliana Ivanova, European Union commissioner, said the programme has brought together 71 European investors with assets under management of more than 90 billion euros (about $98 billion), committing to invest in European deep tech companies.
