According to TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington, payments firm Stripe acquired stablecoin platform Bridge for $1.10 billion.
Bridge, Stripe's largest acquisition to date and the largest in crypto history, raised $58 million from investors at a previous valuation of $200 million.
Bridge provides software that helps businesses accept stablecoin payments, marking an expansion of Stripe's cryptocurrency adoption efforts.
