Cryptocurrency-backed political action committee (PAC) Fairshake reports that it has raised more than $169 million in donations since its inception and has supported candidates by purchasing media or its affiliated PAC (Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress).
The Fairshake PAC reported in an Oct. 17 filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that it spent more than $900,000 on media ads in support of Democratic Rep. Thomas Suozzi of New York State's 3rd Congressional District. The PAC also disclosed that it spent more than $60,000 on media ads in support of Democratic Rep. Yadira Caraveo of Colorado's 8th Congressional District.
