According to official news, Peter Brewin, PwC's Hong Kong head of digital assets, said that the establishment of the Hong Kong Digital Bond Funding Scheme highlights that the tokenization process in Hong Kong has moved from the proof-of-concept stage to the wider market application supported by the government. Hong Kong is rapidly advancing to become the global leader in the next generation of financial marekt to achieve tokenization, instant settlement, and blockchain electronic payments through the settlement system established by the HKMA in the Ensemble project.
