On-chain detective ZachXBT posted on the X platform to alert that the X account of encrypted KOL The Cryptomist was hacked (suspected Russian hackers), and posted misinformation to fans in an attempt to lure them to download malicious software through social engineering.
ZachXBT said it doesn't usually report small incidents like this, but it had more than 45 interactions with the hacked X account of The Cryptomist, and its fans were almost fooled.
