On October 16th, Tellor released the white paper of Tellor Layer, an independent L1 blockchain built using the Cosmos SDK, designed to reach consensus on any subjective data. Operating through a network of pledgers, these pledgers are financially incentivized to truthfully report the requested data.
TRB will become the chain's native currency for staking, tipping, and voting. All token economics will remain unchanged. 4,000 tokens will continue to be allocated to teams each month, and an equal amount will be distributed to reporters and validators as inflation rewards. Of the time-based rewards, 75% will be distributed to reporters and the remaining 25% to validators.
