香港财政事务及库务局副局长陈浩濂呼吁，投资者参与虚拟货币买卖时，最好是透过持牌交易所进行。陈浩濂称，港府正努力建构整个生态圈，目前投资推广署正积极推动相关企业来港拓展业务，虚拟资产的生态圈并非只有交易所，还有虚拟资产的交易所买卖基金、以及央行数码货币（CBDC）等产品，已就稳定币的规管完成咨询，目前正着手筹备相关法例，提交立法会审议。
