On October 10, cyber security firm DoctorWeb recently reported that it detected malicious software disguised as legitimate software, such as office programs, game cheaters, and online trading bots. The crypto-hijacking and theft software infected more than 28,000 users, mainly in Russia, but only captured about $6,000 worth of cryptocurrency.
