"Digital RMB platform distributes digital asset dividends" is a rumor

The reporter learned that recently, some people reported that some criminals issued false announcements in the name of the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China, claiming that "with the joint approval of the Ministry of Finance and the State Data Administration, the digital RMB platform will issue digital asset dividends for users who have received exclusive withdrawal channels" and "will open the second batch of asset registration review and subscription of green channel quotas", etc., causing adverse social impact. After investigation, such "announcements" and "platforms" are forged, and the relevant information is not true. The Digital Currency Research Institute has never released the above information, and has never organized the registration or subscription of "digital assets" or the issuance of "digital asset dividends".
