10月9日讯，据报道，美国政府日前批准向中国台湾地区提供价值约5.67亿美元的军事援助。国防部新闻发言人吴谦对此表示，美方不顾中方坚决反对，执意向中国台湾地区提供军事援助，严重违反一个中国原则和中美三个联合公报，严重危害中国主权和安全利益，严重破坏台海和平稳定。我们对此表示强烈谴责，向美方提出严正交涉。
