On April 7th, it was reported that CoinCenter, Blockchain Association, and DeFi Education Fund each submitted an amicus curiae petition in support of Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm's motion to withdraw the charges against him. In the petition, these organizations state that the government's lawsuits against Roman Storm and Roman Semenov contain a significant amount of factual and legal errors. In addition, the book also provides a detailed explanation of how Tornado Cash works without granting developers control over user assets. If the government's stance on Tornado Cash as a remittance business is established, developers cannot comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, which means that the government's interpretation is equivalent to prohibiting anonymous agreements.
