On October 7, a crypto wallet fraud tool targeting the TON network announced that it would stop serving and direct users to another cryptocurrency fraud tool.
Web3 security agency Scam Sniffer shared a screenshot of a TON-based crypto wallet fraud tool that claims a lack of "big players" or "whales" in the TON community is bad for its business. "As TON has no whales and the community is small, we will be shutting down the service," the hackers wrote.
The wallet fraud tool then directs users to fraudulent assets on the Bitcoin network, saying that if users enjoy stealing on TON, they will also enjoy operating on the Bitcoin network.
