President Joe Biden has said he believes next month's U.S. presidential election will be fair, but Republican nominee Donald Trump and his running mate are likely to reject the results.
"I am confident that the election will be free and fair," Mr. Biden said on the 4th. But he added: "I don't know if the election process will be peaceful. Looking at what Trump has said and what he has said about the results of the last election, it is very dangerous."
Biden also pointed out that it is worth noting that Trump's running mate, Senator Vance, did not confirm during this week's vice presidential debate that he would accept the presidential election results.
