On April 6th, local time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan released a statement stating that the allegations made by the Ukrainian Embassy in Tajikistan of recruiting mercenaries to participate in anti Russian activities in the area are not true. On April 3rd, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Patrushchev, stated that according to information available to the Russian side, the Ukrainian Embassy in Tajikistan is recruiting mercenaries and joining the so-called international corps formed by the Kiev regime to confront Russia.
