澳大利亚证券和投资委员会（ASIC）委员艾伦·柯克兰在AFR数字资产峰会上表示，许多加密资产公司将需要根据《公司法》获得金融服务牌照。ASIC认为部分加密资产应归类为金融产品，但由于加密领域与现行监管模式不完全契合，存在不确定性。ASIC计划在11月前更新指导方针，明确相关加密代币的分类及处理。ASIC还加强了对加密行业的监管，近期对Kraken和澳大利亚证券交易所（ASX）采取了执法行动。
