Survey: Harris gains advantage in election against Trump

Kamala Harris, the US vice-president, has a five-point lead over Donald Trump, her Republican rival, in an NBC News poll released on Sunday, which found respondents had a more favourable view of her since she became the Democratic nominee for president. A separate CBS News poll also found Harris leading Mr. Trump by 52 per cent to 48 per cent of voters polled, a margin of error of plus or minus 2 points.
