Magic Eden said on social platform X, "Listening to feedback from the community, from today onwards, the optional royalty feature will be enabled on the EVM chain, unless the creator enforces royalties. Proven EVM royalty enforcement solutions, such as 721C, have been launched in the market, and creators can make use of these standards if they wish to enforce royalties. However, we have also received feedback from many creators who have chosen not to enable the royalty enforcement feature, and we fully respect this decision to serve their community. For creators who wish to enforce royalties at the contract level, we have provided a guide on how to enforce royalties."
