Google sues cryptocurrency fraudsters who use Play Store to lure victims

Google is suing two application developers for deceiving victims into downloading fraudulent investment applications from the Google Play store. Google accuses these two application developers of uploading 87 fake applications and deceiving over 100000 people to download them since 2019. Google estimates that each victim's losses range from $100 to tens of thousands of dollars.
