Cardano will launch Fund13 on September 26, with 50 million ADA ($16.50 million) set aside to fund top-tier proposals. The community will be open to all to vote on which ideas will be funded, consistent with Catalyst's democratic way of governance.
Proponents will have three weeks to submit their ideas, with the submission window closing on October 10. However, the deadline for Cardano partners will be extended to November 7, giving them more time to refine their proposals.
Fund13's community voting will take place from November 28th to December 12th. The funding categories have been adjusted from the previous round, and the six available categories now include four general categories open to all (Developers, Ecosystems, Concepts, and Products) and two exclusive categories for Tier 1 partners (Enterprise and Growth).
