Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Severe weather trading will be implemented from September 23, 2024

On September 16, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that in accordance with the consultation summary issued on June 18, 2024 and the notices dated July 15 and August 2, the exchange has received regulatory approval to implement severe weather trading. Severe weather trading will take effect from September 23, 2024. On severe weather trading days, securities trading will proceed as usual, and all exchange participants need to continue to provide trading-related services during severe weather. The exchange strongly recommends that participants use remote working mode and online services.
