On September 15, ZachXBT, a detective on the chain, issued a post criticizing Circle, the issuer of stablecoin USDC, accusing it of "never performing a blacklist operation after the DeFi vulnerability/hack, and continuing to profit from transactions despite having enough time."
ZachXBT said it took Circle four and a half months, compared with other major issuers, to blacklist the Lazarus Group address. ZachXBT said, "Tired of your false moral statements because you are the root of the problem."
