Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has removed Lightning Network features for German customers, citing "technological changes". Protos, a cryptocurrency news publication, reported that a Kraken support agent attributed the removal to "regulatory issues".
Kraken "incorrectly cited" the regulatory change that suspended the service: "The service change for German customers who want to use Lightning is the result of a technical change," Kraken said.
