Uniswap founder: Neither Uniswap Labs nor the Foundation charges for protocol deployments

In an X post, Hayden Adams, founder of Uniswap, said: "I rarely deal with projects that try to induce participation in forks, and neither Uniswap Labs nor the Uniswap Foundation charge for protocol deployments. Protocol deployments take place through governance voting, which we prioritise based on the activity and work required (for example, a new zk chain may require more work than a standard operating stack chain). We put a lot of work into reducing the amount of work required per chain."
