General Administration of Customs: Import and export of goods in our country increased by 6% in the first 8 months

On September 10th, according to customs statistics, in the first 8 months of 2024, the total value of our country's import and export of goods 28.58 trillion yuan, an increase of 6% year-on-year (the same below). Among them, exports 16.45 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.9%; imports 12.13 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7%; trade surplus 4.32 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.6%. In dollar terms, in the first 8 months, the total value of our country's imports and exports 4.02 trillion US dollars, an increase of 3.7%. Among them, exports 2.31 trillion US dollars, an increase of 4.6%; imports 1.71 trillion US dollars, an increase of 2.5%; trade surplus 608.49 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.2%.
