根据Social Capital Markets9月9日的报告，SEC今年创下的纪录主要得益于其6月份与TerraformLabs及其前首席执行官DoKwon达成的44.7亿美元巨额和解协议——这是其“迄今为止最大的执法行动”。
该监管机构在2024年采取了11项执法行动，尽管针对加密货币公司的行动减少了19项，但罚款金额却比去年的1.503亿美元增加了3,018%。
