U.S. stocks opened higher, with the three major indexes closing up more than 1%, the Dow up 1.2%, the S & P 500 up 1.16%, and the Nasdaq up 1.16%. Most of the big tech stocks rose, NVIDIA rose more than 3%, Amazon and Tesla rose more than 2%, Netflix and Microsoft rose more than 1%, Apple, Intel, Meta rose slightly; Google fell more than 1%. PALANTIR rose more than 14%, its biggest one-day gain since February.
