On September 8th, the Bitcoin expansion plan FractalBitcoin issued a document on X saying that the mainnet will be launched in about 11 hours. The total supply of FB tokens is 210 million, and the specific distribution is:
Proof of Work (PoW) mining 50%, ecosystem treasury 15%, community grants 10%, pre-sale 5%, advisor 5%, core contributor 15%.
The allocation of the Ecosystem Treasury and Community Grants is capped at 10% of the total annual allocation, divided over 10 years. The allocation of consultants is capped at 20% of the total annual allocation, divided over 5 years. This approach is designed to provide long-term support and sustainability for the Fractal ecosystem.
