Asset management firm WisdomTree has requested the withdrawal of its Ethereum Trust S-1 registration document filed with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), along with the request that the fee be used as a line of credit for "future use." The registration statement was originally filed on May 27, 2021. The company stated in its September 6 filing with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC): "The Company confirms that it has not and will not issue or sell any securities pursuant to this registration statement.
WisdomTree admitted it would not refund fees paid to the SEC for filing the registration statement, but asked that the money be "credited for future use".
