Sonic SVM plans to sell up to $12.80 million worth of validator nodes in its HyperGrid, a decentralized framework designed to support new application-specific networks. According to the team, the sale, scheduled for the week of September 16, will be the first in the Solana blockchain ecosystem and will include 50,000 "Hyperfuse nodes" across 20 pricing tiers. CEO and co-founder Chris Zhu said in an interview that the proceeds will go into the project funding pool for general purposes, including supporting development teams and grants.
