As of August, the exchange's Ethereum (ETH) balance declined significantly. With 14 million ETH at the beginning of the year, the exchange's reserves gradually dwindled, falling below 12.50 million at the end of June and to a low of about 11.70 million ETH in early August, to the lowest level since 2016. This coincided with a period of volatility in the Ethereum price, which fluctuated from around $4,000 in March to a sharp drop at the end of July.
