JPMorgan Chase: Lido's market share decline may protect Ethereum from being classified as a security
2024-04-04 13:47:55
JPMorgan analysts say that the market share of Lido, the largest liquid pledge agreement on Ethereum, has decreased, indicating that Ethereum may avoid being classified as a security in the future. Lido's share in pledged ETH has further decreased from about one-third a year ago to about a quarter currently. This should reduce people's concerns about the centralization of the Ethereum network, thereby increasing the possibility of Ethereum avoiding being designated as a secure security in the future.
