Od区块链分析公司 Elliptic 透露，朝鲜黑客组织 Lazarus 再次使用受制裁的加密货币混合器 Tornado Cash 来混淆其交易。去年，在美国政府因 Tornado Cash 涉嫌帮助犯罪分子对非法获得的数字资产进行洗钱而对其实施制裁后，该组织停止使用 Tornado Cash。
遭制裁之后，由于黑客开始使用 Sinbad.io 以及跨链桥等替代品，Tornado Cash 的总交易量下降了 85%。然而，美国政府再度对 Sinbad.io 实施制裁后，令 Lazarus 的选择有限。因此，该组织再度转向了 Tornado Cash，尽管美国实施了制裁，但由于其中心化性，该平台仍在运营。
