9月5日消息，Base发布博客文章详细介绍了其2024年扩容路线图。自推出以来，Base已将每区块gas目标从2.5 Mgas/s提升至10 Mgas/s，吞吐量提高了4倍。从9月底开始，Base承诺每周增加1 Mgas/s的gas目标，未来可能加速至每周2 Mgas/s。
此外，Base正积极参与PeerDAS（对等数据可用性采样）的开发，这是以太坊即将进行的Pectra升级的一部分。Base团队呼吁在激活PeerDAS的同时显著提高blob容量，以支持更大规模的扩容。为确保网络公平补偿，Base建议提高最低blob费用或实施新的blob数据收费机制。
