Synthetix is launching SNAXchain

On September 5th, Synthetix announced that it is about to start a new governance cycle and launch the application chain SNAXchain on Optimism's Superchain infrastructure.
It is reported that the new round of governance committee nominations will start at 5:54:58 Beijing time on August 31 for a week. Voting will start at 18:50 on September 6, and the new cycle will be officially launched at 22:46 on September 16. Nominations need to be made on SNAXchain, and users need to put a small amount of ETH across the chain as a gas fee. Voting is still taking place on the chain where users pledge SNX. Synthetix said that SNAXchain will serve as a neutral hub for governance and protocol decisions, and may expand more functions in the future. The project works with Conduit and Wormhole to manage the chain infrastructure and implement cross-chain messaging, respectively.
Synthetix emphasizes its long-standing partnership with Optimism, arguing that OPStack has an excellent contributor and user base, and that future interoperability will facilitate seamless user movement between chains.
