Ethena Labs officially posted on the Discord channel that after listening to community feedback from YT holders, it has decided to remove all requirements related to YT tokens related to meeting the minimum effective USDe balance.
If a user holds or holds YT tokens, they will not be taken into account when calculating the minimum USDe balance. YT tokens can still be used to increase the user's current valid USDe balance, but YT tokens will not be counted towards the minimum required balance. These changes will be reflected in the app tomorrow.
Ethena Labs apologized for its negligence and thanked community members for providing feedback to the team.
