Web3 developer D20 Labs has acquired Zynga's Web3 game Sugartown.

Zynga, the mobile publisher that first released Sugartown last year using Web3 and blockchain technology, has announced that it has abandoned Sugartown, its Web 3 game, revealing that it has sold "all products and assets" of the game to D20 Labs for an undisclosed sum. The head of marketing at D2 pointed out that the studio, which is entirely composed of Zynga's former Web 3 team, has been in the works for several months and plans to continue the original game's Web3 team.
