Morgan Stanley economists said in a report that U.S. economic growth and Federal Reserve policy will be key factors affecting Asia's macro outlook in the coming months.
Its base case is for a soft landing in the US, with the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 175 basis points by mid-2025. It expects GDP growth in Asia to remain around 4.3 per cent over the next four quarters and is optimistic about India, Japan, Indonesia and South Korea.
