Indian private bank HDFC Bank launches unified payment interface and CBDC capabilities

HDFC Bank, a private Indian bank, has launched Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and new CBDC features at the Global Fintech Festival 2024 to enhance customers' digital banking. These features are being developed in partnership with fintech companies such as Kreditpe, Tonetag and Payu.
