Tesla China is recalling some imported Model X electric vehicles

On August 30, according to relevant regulations, Tesla Motors Co., Ltd. has filed a recall of some imported Model X electric vehicles with production dates from March 16 to July 31, 2016, totaling 870 vehicles. These vehicles use adhesive to install roof trim panels. Insufficient primer on the surface of the trim panel may lead to weakened adhesion. In extreme cases, the trim panel may fall off and pose a safety hazard. Tesla will inspect and reinstall the trim panel for free to eliminate the hidden danger. Owners should drive cautiously and contact the service center for maintenance as soon as possible. Tesla will notify owners through various channels and arrange the recall.
