US stocks close: China's stock index rose more than 2.5%, Nvidia fell more than 6%

On August 30, the U.S. stock market closed on Thursday, with the Dow index initially closing up 0.6%, setting a new closing high. The S & P 500 index fell slightly, while the Nasdaq index fell 0.2%. NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell 6.3%, Apple (AAPL. O) rose 1.4%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed up 2.6%, Li Auto (LI. O) rose 10%, Alibaba (BABA. N) rose 1.7%, and Gaotu (GOTU. N) rose 17%.
