8月28日消息，上周六，Telegram 首席执行官 Pavel Durov 因网络犯罪调查在法国被捕，阿联酋要求为他提供领事服务。
阿联酋外交部在一份声明中表示：“阿联酋正在密切关注其公民、Telegram 创始人 Pavel Durov 的案件，他在巴黎-勒布尔热机场被法国当局逮捕。阿联酋已向法国政府提出请求，要求紧急向他提供一切必要的领事服务。”
Durov 出生于俄罗斯，2017 年搬到迪拜（Telegram 的总部所在）。他于 2021 年 2 月成为阿联酋公民，还于 2021 年 8 月归化为法国公民，获得欧盟公民身份。
