Li Jin, co-founder of Variant Fund, posted on social media, "I will be transitioning from general partner of Variant to advisor. I will continue to work with portfolio companies and advise teams, while no longer being involved in investments and day-to-day company management. My approach to work has always been mission-oriented: I care deeply about expanding opportunities, especially economic and educational opportunities. This is why I initially became interested in cryptocurrency and Variant - we are one of the few investors in the space and we have a clear mission and argument that we want this technology to be able to lay the foundation for a fairer internet.
